Time for a new computer...

My desktop computer keeps on shutting down with this blue screen. I could be right in the middle of something and the blue screen of death appears. Interestingly, after I force quit and shut down for a while...I can restart and it will be working fine again (without the loss of any files). It's soooooo frustrating. If you're a tech geek, please tell me how to fix this and WHY it does this. In the meantime, I'm shopping for my new laptop.
