Meet our baby girl...

Brooklyn Ann Brummel! I'm still amazed at looking at these images. Gotta love medicine meeting technology! Our ultrasound probably lasted a half hour. The doctor measured Brooklyn extensively and looked closely at her heart and brain. He was able to zoom into the heart and show us all four chambers plus the arteries. We saw her yawn, smile, and move around inside me. The images were so clear and detailed that I really felt like I met her! The doctor even commented on what a pretty face she had (but I'm sure he says that to all the parents). So far her little nose looks just like mine. After a cautious first trimester...I'm so relieved that she's healthy and vibrant.
