In Memory of 9/11

Every year, one block from my house, a local Long Beach firefighter hosts an annual tribute to the victims of 9/11 in his front yard. He places one personalized cross for every firefighter that lost his/her life on his lawn. The community gathered at 6 this evening to remember and honor all those that lost their lives on that tragic day and those who continue to fight for our freedom. It's amazing to me that even seven years later how much emotion it stirs up inside.
