Praying Baby

Whenever Brooklyn sleeps or feeds, she clasps her hands as if she is praying. It's so stinkin' cute. So it is only fitting that her first doll is a praying doll that recites a prayer (courtesy of Grandma). I've always thought the "Now I lay me down..." prayer was a bit morbid ("if I die before I wake"...YIKES). This doll has a much more acceptable prayer...

Now I lay me down to sleep.
I pray the lord my soul to keep.
May angels watch me through the night
and keep me in their blessed sight.
AMEN.
