I'm feeling especially grateful for all that I have in my life right...my health, family, & friends. I unfortunately received terrible news that my friend & co-worker lost her sister today. She died from SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome). I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this chapter will be for her and her family. She was a mom and has two little ones that I'm sure cannot even begin to understand what happened to their mommy. It breaks my heart.
Last year I created a slideshow to look back on 2007. It's so great to take a moment and reflect on all that happened. I'm so glad I did it last year that I wanted to keep the tradition alive. This was an exciting year with my pregnancy and the arrival of baby Brooklyn. It was also the loss of my Grandma. I managed to get lots of travel in still. Take a peak...

Thank you everyone for your photography referrals. Charla BLUE continues to grow and it is my hope that I will eventually be able to quit teaching and take care of our little one. I continue to LOVE photographing all of the families, babies, and couples. I know how much I appreciate our family photos; it's such an honor and blessing to be able to create it for other families. Please continue to send your family and friends my way! Thank you for your support.
