Grateful

Today was one of those days when you realize in every moment that life is good. I started the day at 7:15am driving down the coast of Long Beach to Huntington Beach for a senior session shoot. It was an overcast morning for which I'm sure the athletes were stoaked by. Every way I looked, there was a runner, biker, surfer, roller blader, etc. There is something so peaceful and renewing about an early morning...I love it! And hate it. I say that because I'm typically a night owl so early mornings come too soon. But I love the energy and feeling of early mornings and I'm thinking I need to change my ways. Early mornings also get me to thinking, introspectively, about all the reasons I'm grateful...

1. I live in a beautiful place. Sun. Sand. Ocean. Palm Trees. Bliss!

2. A beautiful little girl. Brooklyn went in a bounce house for the first time today. It was so freakin' adorable, I wanted to pee my pants. Seriously, she was laughing so hard as the other kids were bouncing her all over the place. I was so nervous for her but she did not have a care or fear in the world. I love that about her.

3. Friends that love my little girl like their own. I'm so fortunate to have an amazing circle of friends around me. I love that our children are growing up together. I especially love that all of my friends have husbands that are loving and tender with our little ones. We are so fortunate and it melts my heart every time seeing them interact with the children.

4.Photography opportunities! Back in March, I decided to attend the FTP workshop after reading the book. It has been the single best thing I've done for my biz hands down. It has been the gift that keeps on giving. I have shoot several weddings with other FTP photographers and have gathered with them for shoot outs. And now I get to shoot a wedding with Dane Sanders himself, author of Fast Track Photographer and wedding photographer extraordinaire. I was the lucky one to win a Twitter contest.

There is so much to be said about life experiences. I feel that I have had many. Some fun. Some sad. Some disappointing. I really feel like I have come full circle and I am able to enjoy life with a renewed spirit. I thank my hubby and friends for their amazing support and joy that they bring to my life. Besos! I am grateful for today.
