Amanda & Tony

Most females are raised from the idea that prince charming will come and sweep you off your feet. Well, what the idea didn't inform us of was that Love is more than just four letters, Love is a life long lesson that you wish to share with someone.

Tony and I met in High School going into our Sophomore year. We had mutual friends, and Life was awesome. Feelings were always there, but it was never something that was brought to the table. I had a few boyfriends here and there, and Tony was always there for me for every single break up and tear. I only then realized I had feelings for Tony once someone had announced that they had a crush on him. I couldn't let that happen, and in the fabulous world of High School there is always one friend you tell everything to so that the next day the entire school knows! so... I told her, and soon enough The gossip spread like a wild fire.

It took guts to actually approach him and leave a note on his car asking if he wanted to have lunch, It took guts to call him up and ask how he was, but In the grand scheme of things, It took no effort for our friendship to turn into something special! At this time the winter formal was approaching, and we both already had dates, so we figured we share this time with our dates, and then see where our relationship stands. The dance was awesome, Sure it wasn't exactly what I planned, and seeing Tony dance with another girl drove me bonkers, but I knew we both wanted to be together.

After the dance, which was actually held on my birthday, I wanted to go home, but Tony had to take his date to an after party. I had told him, not a big deal and to just call me tomorrow. later that night I receive a call at 230am telling me to go outside... I was like, what the heck, Im in my pjs..!!! haha... So I go outside and Tony is standing there in his tux with two pink roses. I smile and looked into those big hazel eyes, and he said the cutest thing ever..."I just wanted to make this official. Will you be my girlfriend? Happy birthday"

I'm not going to lie, None of our friends wanted us to be together, and in result we ended up loosing a lot of those friends.... but too bad for them because I guess they won't be attending the LOPEZ WEDDING!!!!!!

Tony and I have spent 7 happy years together learning from each other, creating memories with each other and building the strongest friendship ever! People always ask me what makes your relationship work? I always tell them that Love is a lesson. We have learned to compromise and trust one another and that communication is the strongest bond in ones relationship. We will be getting married May 19th, 2012. I am so lucky to be marrying my best friend, my soulmate, my other half. We know that whatever life hands to us, at least we can handle it together, because in our minds there is no other way!

Tony and I are a crazy silly couple, we like to have a good time and are always willing for a challenge. I would love to do a shoot in a Library, Because sometimes silence is all you need to show emotions. Tony and I didn't need to tell one another that we wanted to be together, we felt it and Silence was def golden, cause look at us now!!!

So.... in conclusion, I am So in LOVE with Tony Lopez and willing to take the challenge of what LOVE means to me! thanks for your time guys and big thanks to charlablue for this sweet contest!!
