I met you a few years ago when you did my senior photos. You are so easy to work with and can make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera so I had to jump into this contest for some of your gorgeous photography. Of course I have liked your Facebook page & attached some photos, so here is our story.

In the summer of 2009 I went to a motocross race with a friend that took place at Loretta Lynn’s ranch in Tennessee. Thousands of people attend this race and it is the biggest one of the year for amateur racing. While at the race, I had met my boyfriend, Dakota, from my friend. A few days after I got home Dakota and I had reconnected over the internet and clicked right away. We came to find out that we live only ten minutes away from each other, which is so nice considering we met on the other side of the country! After the race in Tennessee, Dakota stayed on the east coast to travel to other races for another month. We spent the month that Dakota was away talking non stop and got to know each other pretty well, counting down the days till he got back. As soon as Dakota got home we got together and have been inseparable ever since. I am truly lucky to be in love with my best friend.

We enjoy doing everything together from watching movies to wake boarding. Motocross has always been a hobby of mine, but it is now Dakota’s career so it is a big part of our lives. This summer we will be busy going to races across the county in different states almost every weekend. When we are not at the races we like to spend our time at the beach. This year has flown by for us so far and we know this summer may go by even faster. We would love to capture our relationship this summer with some of your amazing photography. :)

We would love to shoot at the beach or somewhere unique like in Catalina or somewhere in LA. If those are too far, we were thinking somewhere like the Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, Seal Beach, or Laguna Beach, whichever is most convenient. Some props we were thinking we could use are our dogs, Dakota’s motorcycle, long boards, surfboards, or wake boards.
