Well, B started making Pixie Hollow (you know from Tinkerbell? aka a "fort") with the cushions on our couch and a blanket. Every kid loves a good fort, right? Growing up ours involved real wood and nails in the trees (but that was in the forests of Washington and we don't even have one tree in our yard here in SoCal). A pillow and blanket fort is equally as fun for this 2.5 year old...
(All of these images were shot with my point & shoot.
I'm trying to be more intentional in taking pictures of the every day things around here.)
But then Daddy got involved and soon our living room had been converted to an even bigger Pixie Hollow...(have I ever mentioned that my husband is a big kid? Lucky for B!)
At least this way, daddy could go in to Pixie Hollow too.
These next few photos were a Friday eve over at the Volkoffs home. B & Lu had their first bath time together. Here they are playing babies, such silly girls...
I promise that B is not trying to strangle Lu in this next picture. She always gives hugs around the neck. I don't think Lu is a fan so I'm trying to teach her around the back hugs.
Two very common Brookie expressions. This girl is dramatic!
Sharing food!
The girls are at daycare together every day. They love each other like sisters and can fight like it too. Lu will take handfuls of Brookie's hair and Brookie has been known to knock her over. The best thing in the world about their friendship is their laughter. They can get each other laughing the best belly laugh EVER. It's adorable and just warms my heart.
If you want to follow some of my every day posts about Brookie, head on over to her Tumblr page. I started posting random things she says, snapshots with my phone, video, and audio recordings. I wish I started this long ago b/c it's so easy to do from my phone and easy to record the little significant moments that we can often forget.
