{Brooklyn} Summer Is..

Have I ever told you how much I love summer? As a native to the PNW, I spent the first 25 years of my life in the rain and months of dreary gray. Now having lived in Southern California for 11 years...I can't imagine living any where else. I love the sun. The beach. The lifestyle. It is home to me!

I haven't picked up my camera since the start of summer vacation. However, my phone is always on me and it's pretty much become my point & shoot camera. It's nice to take a break from photography to get those creative juices flowing again. I like to do it a few times a year. However, I have lots of sessions coming up so I'll be sharing those sessions with you as I shoot them.

SUMMER IS...

...cold ice cream on a hot day.

 ...watching the sun set around the campfire. 

 ...evening walks & runs through the park at sunset.

It's only taken me 36 years...but I'm learning to slow down and enjoy the little things. What's summer to you?
