{Brooklyn} Merry Christmas 2011

Just a quick note to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I'm not going to lie...this has been a very difficult year. Which makes it even more difficult to get in the Christmas spirit. But I'm constantly reminded the blessing a child brings. I am so grateful for this little bundle of energy. She keeps me on my toes. She challenges me daily. And she inspires me to be a better person. And she shows me how to love. Unconditionally. I'm so lucky to be her mom.

I can't believe how much she's grown since that first photo....her first Christmas. 

It kinda breaks my heart that time is going so fast. 

It's so cliche....but I'm trying to seize every moment. Capture it. Remember it. Be grateful for it. 

There is so much hurt in this world, but we need to hold onto the joy. 

And remember what we DO have. 

And I have a happy little girl...
