{Taylor | Dancer} Walt Disney Concert Hall | Los Angeles Photographer

I shot this session back in January and I'm sorry I never blogged it. It was a personal fave! I posted her preview on Facebook and as life would have it...it just got busy (and maybe a little crazy). But I really love showcasing my clients here on my blog. In fact, I've always blogged every single session or wedding here prior to six months ago.  I believe in sharing every client session (and hopefully I can catch up on a few). But life can just kinda kick your butt sometimes. So here I am, two months later...blogging Taylor's session. I'm learning to bend the rules a bit lately and be okay with less than perfection. But don't worry...I'm making a comeback. I'm so inspired these days by photography...I really want to share so much with you all.

So on to Taylor...the cutie little dancer from Olympia, WA (my hometown). Would you believe that I was a cheerleader with her mom in high school 'er 20+ years ago. In fact Taylor's grandmother was my cheer advisor and a huge part of my high school career. When I became a high school cheer advisor, I would always channel my inner "Joanne". HaHa. Really I would though. I always looked up to the Swenson girls because they were such talented dancers & cheerleaders. I have watched Taylor's dance videos often on Facebook since I was friends with her mom. I was more than thrilled to hear that she would be making a dance trip to LA and was interested in having me shoot some headshots for her. It was such a pleasure to finally meet her in person. Her mom Erin came to the shoot too and it was so fun to catch up with her. We talked like no time had passed at all...it was pretty much an awesome day for all.

Taylor is not only an incredible dancer, she is a little ball of fire. This girl is going places, watch out world...

Can you believe this is mom & daughter?
Seriously they look more like sisters!
It was really sweet to see what an awesome relationship they had
and gave me hope for the same with Brooklyn some day.
