{2013 - Year in Review} Lake Tahoe, NV | Summer Road Trip - Part 1

2013 is quickly coming to an end! Only 11 more days left to be exact. Although I still had my share of challenges this year, it was definitely the best year in recent memory. I had a lot of really amazing moments with loved ones, for which I am so grateful. One of the highlights of the year was taking a 4-state, 17-day road trip with my then 4-year-old Brooklyn. A lot people thought I was crazy for doing so...but it was actually really awesome. She was such a good little traveler. We drove from our home in Long Beach, CA to as far north as Whidbey Island, WA and back again.

Here are a few captures of our first stop in Reno & Lake Tahoe. My sister's best friend lives there with her family. We've known one another for close to 20 years and she is as good as family to me. We had so much fun hanging out with the Henleys, especially on the lake when we got to paddle board for the first time. SO MUCH FUN!
