{SOAR} A chance of a lifetime

 

In a last minute's decision before leaving on vacation, I decided to apply for a chance in a lifetime opportunity. You can read & see all about it HERE. As part of the application process, I had to create a two minute video highlighting my creativity and why I have what it takes to SOAR in building my photography business. So far, 225 women have contributed their videos and they are all worthy. I have no question that every one of them has the talent, passion, and drive that I do to succeed in photography. However, I still want to be selected as one of the final three that will participate in the SOAR program for the next year. As my friends, family, and readers that know me best...would you do me a favor and leave a comment on my video to why you think I might be worthy? In retrospect, there are so many things I wished I would have said, but maybe you could say it better? In fact, MeRa Koh - the contest sponsor - is asking for your help too! Until December 31st, you will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite SOAR! videos. Vote for as many as you’d like. Ask all your friends and family to help vote too. We would love to know who you think should win and why.

Why do this? We’ve had a couple close friends talk through a handful of the videos with us, sharing their thoughts, and it’s so great to hear their input. Your input would be wonderful too. But again, it’s not a popularity contest so please don’t stress. Instead, this is an opportunity to let your favorite women know what a great job they did, and let us know. Think "ENCOURAGING” not “COMPETITION”.
