I always say that photography is the dream that I never knew I had (it's even on my blog header!). It's so true and I'm constantly reminded by the joy it brings me since discovering this passion a short three years ago. And now the dream is getting even bigger and I could not feel more grateful or happy. This past week I signed the lease for a storefront & studio with three other amazing wedding vendors. We are calling it Studio 404 Weddings (formerly The Long Beach Wedding Boutique but we soon changed our mind based on our 404 address) and it will be a consultation space for us to meet with clients and showcase our work. Meet the 404 girls...
Amy of Bride & Bloom Flowers
Erica of Erica O'Brien Cakes
Monica of Paper Cut Industries
None of this would have been possible without the awesome invitation I received from Candice & Megan of the Long Beach Wedding Collective. It was their vision to network with a select group of wedding vendors in Long Beach and is how I met my storemates. A huge thank you to you both!
We have our work cut out for us, but the space is already coming along nicely. I wanted to share a few pictures of the work in progress, so you can compare with our finished work. It's going to look amazing! I could not be more excited!
We're kinda in & out working on the place, but if you see us there please stop in & say hello! We're located at 404 Termino, Long Beach, CA 90814.

We'll be replacing the awning & of course, the signage on the windows.
We painted the ceilings black (to make the ugly disappear), the walls aqua, and the concrete floor a graying taupe color. I absolutely love the chandelier that Amy made! So flippin' cool.
Man, painting is hard work!
