Jess & Sarah graduated this spring from Lakewood HS. I can only imagine how much fun they must be having this summer after their graduation. We had a blast exploring the San Pedro and Rancho Palos Verdes coast. It's always the biggest compliment in the world when I have a repeat client, and I've had the privelege of shooting Jess two other times and maybe more! Enjoy...

{Captured} Senior Friends
Amanda and I headed down to Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach to meet up with four graduating seniors. Jessica. Shawnee. Aaron. Patrick. These guys were so much fun! I'm so impressed that Aaron and Patrick were game with the photo session! (You know how guys can be in front of a camera). Between Amanda and I, there were so many awesome shots...it was difficult to choose which to post. Here are just a few of my faves and a little sneak peak! Many more to come. Thanks guys for spending the morning with us.
{Captured} Michelle
Senior Sessions continue to be one of my favorite to capture! Hello...if you've ever met a high school girl, they are all smiles in front of the camera. Michelle is no exception. She is one of the most positive and "smiley" girls I've ever met! She has been voted "most spirited" the last two years in a row and it's no surprise! I could take a hundred of these girls as a student! LOVED her cowboy hat and her playful pose with the lollipop. Congrats girls on your upcoming graduation. You have a such an exciting future to look forward to...
{Captured} Carissa

Last weekend I met Carissa & Michelle on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport for their senior session. Carissa is one of my cheerleaders but she is also a very active and talented particpate of the dance program. I absolutely love this picture of her jumping!

Today I met up with friends Bee & Jess to capture them and their friendship for their senior portraits. We had such a blast walking the streets of Long Beach. I'm a huge advocate of grads doing their portraits together. You get some great shots together but more importantly you get genuine and natural looking portraits alone because of the interaction between you two. It, of course, takes the pressure off of me to make you more comfortable in front of the camera. Its a win win situation and we always have a ton of fun during our senior sessions! Time is running of, Class of 2009...book your senior sessions soon! My calendar is filling up and graduation is right around the corner.

What would a teenage girl be without her cell phone? I love this series!!!

Miss Elisa
This first photo is one of my favorites from the session; although I can't take credit for it b/c Kaitlin took it with my camera while I escaped to the restroom (although I did the editing). Good job, Kaitlin...you just might have a career in photography.
Class of 2009 buddies
Yet another buddy session for these 2009 grads. We got a lot of great series shots, as posted below. These two girls crack me up and they did not disappoint at our beach senior session.
