{Joshua Tree} Girls Adventure 2013 | Part II

I can't say I've spent much time in the desert nor have I wanted to (other than Palm Springs). I'm traditionally drawn to the beach and the ocean with the warm sun with the cool breeze. The desert has always seemed like a desolate and lonely place to me. But I have never taken the time to really explore it either...and I must say I fell a bit in love with it on this trip. It's definitely a place to go for introspection. I can see the beauty in it now. The vast blue skies. The never-ending horizon. The quirky trees and plants that you'd only find there. Amazing rock formations that are begging to be climbed. Stunning sunsets. And I can only imagine what the sunrises would be like. It was all beautiful and I felt a deep sense of peace in Joshua Tree (definitely not something I feel very often). It is truly an artist's playground and there is so much inspiration to be drawn from this magical place.

I am woman...hear me roar (haha)...

One last illegal stop to wrap up our day and a final photo opp...

We ended our day with a Mexican dinner, margaritas, and fun convo between new found friends!
