{Luella} Happy 1st Birthday!

Luella June is ONE! I had the privilege of capturing her come into this world and the pleasure of seeing her grow all year long since we are friends & neighbors. Brooklyn and her have become the best of friends giving hugs and kisses anytime they see one another. At times they are more "frenemies" pushing and knocking one another over in an attempt to win back a toy. It's pretty funny and both of these girls can hold their own. Brooklyn regularly asks to go see "Lu'a" or "LuLu". They are more than friends to us, they are family. And I'm always reminded of my mom's best friend "Louella" that was definitely family to me growing up, despite the fact that we were not blood related. It's amazing that we get to navigate this journey together.

Cora did an awesome job planning Lu's cupcake themed birthday party. It was so fun & cute!

As a fun birthday activity, each of the munchkins got to decorate their own cupcake. They loved it and created masterpieces.

Cora created a coloring book featuring each of Luella's friends and birthday guests as the favor, accompanied by the cutest cupcake crayons from Etsy. How adorable is this?
