{Maddy} Sugar Land, TX Family Photographer

I'm here for the week in Sugar Land, TX visiting my sister Jeanene and her family. And since it's been a couple of years since I've taken any photos of them...it was a prerequisite for this trip! I took my youngest niece Maddy out solo this evening for some portraits. She just started middle school this year...so it's definitely a memorable and significant year for this little lady.

I'm so happy with what we captured! Not only did I get to go shopping to help pick out her wardrobe, I was driving the car and pulling off the road whenever I felt inspired. Such a fun way to shoot! And lucky my sister just trusted what I would capture.

Maddy girl...you are such a beautiful girl...inside and out. I just love your silliness and your love for my little girl. From the time Brookie was a baby, you have carried her around like it was nobody's business. You have such confidence and kindness in your heart. My only wish is that you would remain a child just a little longer. I'm not ready for you to be a teenager too! But from the look of these photos...it may just be a little too late.

 Oh ya...did I mention that my adorable 11-year old niece is now taller than me? Boo hoo!

 It's just so fun to shoot here in Sugar Land...so much uninhabited land. 

 Those would be cows in the distance below...something I don't see much of in the LBC.
