{2013 - Year in Review} Paulina Plunge, Sunriver, OR | Summer Road Trip - Part 3

This part of our road trip was definitely the highlight! I was a little hesitant about doing a downhill mountain bike tour with a 4-year old...but Brookie was such a little stud! We flew down the mountain with little screams of JOY coming from the bike of our tandem mountain bike. We did crash once or twice but there were no tears...only fits of laughter. I will forever cherish these memories with my little girl. 

I had absolutely no plans of jumping into the waterfall (as I HATE cold water)...but I really want to be an example to Brookie of stepping out of your comfort zone and always living life to the fullest. So I did it! AND IT WAS COLD! But so so fun. 

Brookie did get a little tired by the end of the day as the hikes were long down to the waterfalls...so our guide scooped her up and gave her a shoulder ride. She was just a little smitten by him.

I've really been trying to get back into the blogging groove. I've been posting lots of client sessions but of course my personal life is always most neglected and last to appear here. I really want to get our 3-week road trip up on the blog from this past summer...so I'm starting with the family photos we took with my cousin Jessica in my hometown of Olympia, WA. As always, I hate to be in front of the camera but I'm always so happy to have a few images with my girl that are not selfies with my iPhone (this article has helped me change my perspective on staying in the photo). Thank you so much Jess for these images...I love them!
