Did I mention how incredibly sweet Janelle & Brett were? And all their friends and family too? Such a fun and laid back bunch! Just a few more fun captures of their ceremony and moments before and after. I always love it when brides throw their bouquet up in the air after they are pronounced man and wife! They almost always do (I did too)!

Janelle & Brett decided to see each other before their ceremony. For their "first look". Once upon a time, when I was a bride...I wanted to wait to walk down the aisle for my husband to see me for the first time. But now that I'm a wedding photographer, I see both sides. It is such a wonderful intimate moment to see each other before the ceremony. You really don't have the time to greet each other, and discuss how beautiful you each look, and just really enjoy the moment. I absolutely loved being witness to Janelle & Brett's first look. Pure love...

I'm thinking the getting ready shots are seriously one of my faves! First, they are all photojournalistic (candid)...which I love and prefer. Second, it's such a beautiful moment when you finally get to put on your dress and veil with your pretty make-up and hair. AND, all the women you love and cherish are there with you. It's perfect. Wouldn't you agree?

{i do} janelle + brett - the details

For the first time my worlds collided! The photographer in me met the Spanish teacher!!! If you know me, you know I love Spanish architecture! So to be able to photograph a beautiful wedding in the midst of a Spanish playground was pretty much amazing. And, on top of that, for Dane Sanders...phenomenal! Could somebody please pinch me? This is only part one of this wedding series, so to be continued...
